The Waimate Event Centre, opened in 2016 is a social hub for many sporting activities and houses an indoor climbing wall, inline skating sessions and a fully equipped gym. Waimate also boast plenty of retail opportunities with destination clothing stores and interior/gift shops and options for the outdoors enthusiast.
